The most romantic castel in Loire Valley
Our story
Built in the middle of 19th century by Pagnon, a Paris jeweller, Chateau de la Huardiere evokes scenes from different works of art and draws its wealth of elegance from perfect geometry and the profusion of plans. Inspired by the iconic style of French architecture, it opens a romantic gate back in time to an era of utter refinement and charm.
It remained a secondary residence (for Pagnon, Malraux, Leo Ferre and Jean Renoncourt) most of its history until Angela Raico CRACIUN bought the Chateau de la Huardiere and began important investments for maintaining, renovating, and restoring the main building and its gardens to its former beauty.
In 2018, we made completed out final restoration process to help bringing the chateau back to its original splendor and ensure that the fine and meticulous details are clear for all to see.
In our minds, our history is important to the personality of our space, and by working to restore the structure to its former glory, we can ensure that we continue to rewrite the story of Château de la Huardière for the generations to come.
